Orlando’s 12th Annual Violectric Holiday Show Returns to Lake Eola Park

Orlando is gearing up for a festive celebration as the 12th Annual Violectric Holiday Show makes its triumphant return to Lake Eola Park on December 14, 2024. This beloved free outdoor concert showcases the unique electrifying string music of the Violectric ensemble and invite both locals and visitors for an evening of holiday cheer.

What to Expect from the Concert

The concert will take place at the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola Park, starting at 7 PM. Guests can look forward to an energetic performance lasting over 90 minutes, featuring a blend of traditional holiday songs such as “O Christmas Tree,” “The First Noel,” and “Hanukkah, O Hanukkah.” Alongside these classics, Violectric will incorporate popular rock tunes and modern hits, including “Born to Run,” “Heroes,” and “Sweet Dreams.” This variety promises a dynamic experience that combines holiday spirit with familiar favorite tunes.

Who is Behind the Show

The concert is hosted by the founder of Violectric, Michelle Jones, who has recently been recognized as a GRAMMY® nominee. Jones will be joined by talented musicians from the Central Florida strings super-group and special guest performers from Edgewater High School. An exciting twist this year is the appearance of “Elvis,” who will also serve as the host for the evening.

Meet Santa and Support a Good Cause

As part of the holiday festivities, Santa and Mrs. Claus will return for meet-and-greet sessions, providing families with opportunities for memorable photos. Additionally, concert-goers are encouraged to bring donations to support MusiCares®, an organization dedicated to helping music industry professionals in need. This initiative aims to foster a spirit of giving and community support during the holiday season.
