Cheering fans create a lively atmosphere at the Acrisure Bounce House.
The University of Central Florida has announced the renaming of FBC Mortgage Stadium to Acrisure Bounce House, effective July 1, 2025. This change coincides with FBC Mortgage’s transition to Acrisure Mortgage. UCF’s Vice President of Athletics, Terry Mohajir, emphasized the new name reflects both the university’s identity and the energy of its fans. Fans can expect branding updates at the stadium in preparation for the 2025 season, as the venue, known for its unique lively atmosphere, continues to embody UCF’s football culture.
The UCF Board of Trustees has officially approved the renaming of FBC Mortgage Stadium to Acrisure Bounce House, effective July 1, 2025. This decision marks a significant shift in branding as part of FBC Mortgage’s transition to Acrisure Mortgage, which will happen concurrently.
In his statement, UCF Vice President and Director of Athletics, Terry Mohajir, expressed excitement about the new name, underlining that it represents the identity of UCF and captures the vibrant energy exhibited by its fans. The stadium, affectionately nicknamed “The Bounce House,” has been home to UCF football since it opened in 2007, becoming a cherished venue for players and fans alike.
FBC Mortgage had first entered a naming rights agreement with UCF in 2022, which was intended to last for a decade at a total of $19.5 million. The agreement stipulated an initial annual rights fee of $1.5 million, which is set to increase to $3 million during the final two years of the contract. This name change is part of a larger rebranding initiative following Acrisure’s acquisition of FBC Mortgage in April 2024.
As the new branding takes effect, fans can expect to see updates to the stadium’s signage and overall branding starting this summer, in preparation for the 2025 football season. The arena is well recognized for its unique bouncing dynamic during games, a phenomenon that occurs when large crowds jump together. This lively environment has necessitated structural reinforcements to ensure spectator safety.
Over the years, the stadium has had various names, having previously been known as Bright House Networks Stadium and Spectrum Stadium before the FBC Mortgage association. Its current nickname, “The Bounce House,” has firmly established it as a key aspect of UCF’s football culture, creating memorable experiences for fans during home games.
Additionally, UCF football has cultivated a spectacular game day atmosphere, further enhancing the stadium’s reputation as an essential part of the university community. Board member Stephen King highlighted the significance of the name change, recognizing it as an important milestone for the institution and its supporters.
The renaming of FBC Mortgage Stadium to Acrisure Bounce House emphasizes UCF’s commitment to brand identity while reflecting the spirited enthusiasm of its fanbase. As fans eagerly await the 2025 season, the updated branding is anticipated to enrich their game day experiences, reinforcing the stadium’s status as a beloved venue within collegiate football.
