As a result, UCF was recognized in Softball America’s week six top 25 poll, coming back into the rankings at No. 25 after previously sitting at No. 23 during week two of the 2023 season.
Such a remarkable achievement comes on the heels of last year’s impressive run, when the team made it to their very first NCAA Super Regional. The Knights have proven they can compete with the best, and they are eager to keep the momentum going!
In the coming weeks, the Knights will face several other prestigious teams, including the likes of the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners, No. 3 Florida Gators, and No. 11 Florida State Seminoles. Speaking of the Gators, UCF will be wrapping up its road trip this Wednesday with a tense encounter against them!
