This matchup comes on the heels of a successful series victory against Texas Tech, where UCF won two out of three games, bringing their overall record to 27-24.

UCF’s recent road trip consisted of seven games over 11 days, concluding with an impressive series against Texas Tech. The Knights opened the series with a 7-3 victory, lost the second game 3-2 in extra innings, and reclaimed the series with a dominant 15-6 win in the rubber match. Key players in these games included Andrew Williamson, who contributed significantly with a home run and a clutch RBI single in the opener, while also hitting for the cycle during the series finale.
Outfielder Antonio Jimenez also had a standout performance, including two home runs and five RBIs in the final game, which saw UCF establish a strong offensive presence early on with four runs in the first inning.
