- Alex Haynes (Football, 2000-2004)
- Cornell Green (Football, 1995-1998)
- Aurieyall Scott (Track & Field, 2011-2013)
- Miriam Metzcus-Ochoa (Volleyball, 1991-1994)
- Dexter Lyons (Men’s Basketball, 2002-2004)
The banquet will kick off with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. ET, followed by dinner and the induction program starting at 7 p.m. ET. Individual tickets for the event are priced at $175, while reserved tables for ten guests are available for $2,000. The following day, the inductees will be recognized during the UCF-West Virginia football game at Acrisure Bounce House.
Since its inception in 1998, the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame has celebrated athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors who have helped elevate UCF’s status in collegiate sports. With the addition of the 2025 class, the Hall of Fame now features a total of 110 members.
About the Inductees
Mike Sims-Walker
Mike Sims-Walker played an integral role in UCF’s transition to Division I football. Over 46 games, he recorded 184 receptions for 2,561 yards and 17 touchdowns. His performance earned him recognition as a Second Team All-Conference USA player in 2005 and a First Team selection in 2006. He holds the record for the UCF single-season receptions with 90 catches in 2006 and was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2007 NFL Draft, where he had a notable career.
Alex Haynes
Alex Haynes remains UCF’s all-time leading rusher with a remarkable total of 3,356 rushing yards. During his career, he scored 28 touchdowns and became the first running back in UCF history to surpass 4,000 all-purpose yards. Known for his powerful running style, Haynes earned All-Conference recognition and played briefly in both the NFL and UFL following his college career.
Aurieyall Scott
Aurieyall Scott made history as the first student-athlete from UCF to win an NCAA title, clinching gold in the 60-meter dash in 2013. She accumulated 14 All-American honors and played a key role in leading UCF to five Conference USA championships. Scott set numerous school records in both the 100m and 200m events, significantly contributing to UCF’s rise in the national track rankings during her time.
Miriam Metzcus-Ochoa
Miriam Metzcus-Ochoa has been a crucial part of UCF Volleyball’s success, helping the team garner three conference championships. She boasts impressive career statistics, including 1,811 kills, 1,644 digs, and 235 service aces—all of which set program records. Following her playing career, Metzcus-Ochoa has contributed to UCF’s volleyball program as a coach, aiding in the pursuit of additional championships.
Cornell Green
Cornell Green anchored UCF’s offensive line and started every game during his final three seasons with the team. He was a part of the 1998 squad that led to significant victories, contributing to the protection of UCF’s quarterbacks. Green transitioned to a successful NFL career, highlighted by winning a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Dexter Lyons
Dexter Lyons, who transferred to UCF, quickly became a leading scorer, contributing to the team’s ASUN Championship appearances. He averaged 18.3 points per game during his senior year, along with impressive statistics in rebounds and assists. Lyons was also the first player in UCF history to achieve a triple-double.
