The 2025 MICHELIN Guide Florida has recognized 59 restaurants in Orlando, showcasing its vibrant food scene. The growing diversity and quality of eateries indicate Orlando’s rise as a culinary destination.
Orlando – The 2025 MICHELIN Guide Florida has recognized 59 restaurants in Orlando, underscoring the city’s thriving culinary landscape. This includes 9 starred venues, 15 Bib Gourmands, and 35 Recommended establishments. Among these, Z Asian Vietnamese Kitchen has once again captured attention as a Bib Gourmand honoree, a designation it first received in 2022 during Florida’s inaugural year for the guide.
Z Asian Vietnamese Kitchen, owned by Hien Pham and Chef Huong Nguyen, has been praised by Michelin inspectors for its “distinctively bold” dishes that feature “thoughtful design.” Their cooking is highlighted for being “flavorful, bursting with nuance and balance,” bringing a unique dining experience to the local food scene.
This year, the guide introduced several new recognitions, including Sorekara, which is notable for being Orlando’s first Two-MICHELIN-Star honoree. Sorekara’s General Manager, Austin Joseph, received a MICHELIN Service Award, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to excellence. Moreover, the restaurant ÔMO by Jônt, led by Chef Ryan Ratino, earned a One-MICHELIN-Star rating.
The 2025 MICHELIN Guide also welcomed new Bib Gourmand recipients, including Smokemade Meats + Eats, Bánh Mì Boy, Coro, and UniGirl. In addition, a range of Recommended establishments has been highlighted, such as Nami, Bar Kada, Gyukatsu Rose, Kai Kai, and Walala Hand-Pulled Noodle House. These selections emphasize the growing diversity and quality of Orlando’s dining options.
The recognition from the MICHELIN Guide reflects Orlando’s evolving culinary scene, which has gained prominence alongside its well-known tourist attractions. Gwendal Poullennec, the international director of Michelin Guides, noted the talent of Orlando’s chefs and the city’s array of recreational activities. Meanwhile, Soseki, another revered restaurant in the area, received a MICHELIN Sommelier Award in 2023, further highlighting Orlando’s high-quality dining options.
The Bib Gourmand designation is significant as it highlights restaurants where diners can enjoy a meal featuring two courses along with a glass of wine or dessert, typically costing around $50. This category bridges the gap between fine dining and accessible cuisine, making it more enticing for a broader audience.
With the inclusion of numerous dining establishments in the MICHELIN Guide, Orlando is positioned as a noteworthy culinary destination that offers an impressive variety of flavors and dining experiences. The recognitions not only celebrate local talent but also emphasize the increasing acknowledgment of the city’s gastronomic value, hinting at a bright future for its vibrant food culture.
