This year marks a significant milestone, as the program has raised nearly $3 million for local nonprofits since its inception in 2009.

The REED Charitable Foundation, the primary beneficiary, aims to combat the literacy crisis for children by providing accessible reading instruction and educator training. Donation totals and recognition of top-performing restaurant partners will be announced at Visit Orlando’s Annual Year-End Luncheon scheduled for December 11.

In addition to supporting the REED Charitable Foundation, Visit Orlando is also distributing $3,000 donations to non-profit organizations across Orange County’s six commission districts. Supported nonprofits this year include Boys 2 Men Mentoring, Early Learning Coalition of Orange County, Finding the Lost Sheep, Nuevo Sendero, Samaritan Resource Center, and The Therapy Wish.
