In addition, “The Sugarplum Ball In Concert” will be presented by Wayward Queers Productions, featuring the talented local drag performer Ginger Minj, best known for her appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race”.
When and Where?
“Becoming Santa” will be shown on December 5 and 6 at 7:30 PM, and additionally on December 7 with both 2 PM and 7:30 PM performances. All shows will be held at the Festive ArtSpace. Following the play on December 7, attendees can enjoy Christmas caroling by Dickens by Candlelight in the ArtSpace lobby, creating a truly immersive holiday experience.
Meanwhile, “The Sugarplum Ball In Concert” will take place on December 13 and 14, starting at 8 PM each night. This new holiday musical will undoubtedly delight audiences with its festive spirit and engaging performances.
Additional Events

This event will take place at CityArts from 8:30 PM to 1 AM, offering a vibrant and artistic atmosphere for young professionals and anyone eager to welcome the new year in style.
Why These Events Matter
The programming support grant from Dr. Phillips Charities to the Opera’s upcoming production of Massenet’s Cendrillon highlights the community’s commitment to sustaining rich cultural arts. Such initiatives not only enhance local talent but also encourage community engagement with the arts through diverse performances.
Orlando’s festive season is set to be filled with creativity and merriment. From heartwarming stories and musical celebrations to New Year’s festivities, this vibrant community continues to showcase its commitment to the arts, making it a prime destination for holiday entertainment.
