After the collision, the suspect didn’t stop there. Bargnare managed to get out of his damaged car—his vehicle slammed against a utility pole—and attempted to escape on foot. However, his run from the law was short-lived as authorities apprehended him soon after.
Bargnare is facing some serious charges including burglary and resisting without violence, but more charges related to this disastrous crash are expected. Sadly, the pedestrian who was struck was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead, prompting an outpouring of grief and concern in the local community.

Details coming in indicate that at the time of the chase, Bargnare was driving a blacked-out car that had no lights, making it difficult for others to see him. The police officer, who remains unidentified for now, was driving an unmarked Ford F-150.
