Orlando is set to welcome an exciting wave of new dining options in the coming months, featuring a range of cuisines and unique dining experiences. From casual eateries to themed venues, the latest additions aim to enhance the culinary landscape of the city.

À La Cart founders April and Dustin Williams have recently launched a second location named À La Cart SoDo at 2207 E. Michigan St. This new venue features seven diverse food vendors, offering an assortment of flavors. Among the participating food vendors are OverRice, specializing in Filipino and Hawaiian dishes, 503 Latin Fusion, known for its vibrant Latin cuisine, Nona Street Pizza, SmashDunk Brgr for delicious burgers, Taito Sushi Bar, Barrio Español, and Oldenburg Provisions, which serves modern German cuisine. This diverse lineup caters to a broad range of tastes and preferences.

Another forthcoming establishment, Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails, is scheduled to open on May 22 at 1336 N. Mills Ave. This new destination will offer an Asian-influenced, tapas-style menu, paired with tiki-inspired cocktails designed to provide a refreshing dining experience.

Looking ahead, families can anticipate the opening of The Burrow Cafe and Play, which is set to debut in September at 618 N. Mills Ave—the former site of the Russian Ballet. This family-friendly cafe will offer coffee and grab-and-go food options and will feature collaborations with local restaurants and food trucks, adding a dynamic flair to its menu.

A new entrant in the culinary scene is B’alam Maiz y Agave, a Mexican restaurant specializing in seafood and live-fire cooking. Located in the Armstrong Lock building, the restaurant promises to offer house-made corn tortillas along with an extensive tequila selection, catering to fans of authentic Mexican cuisine. Additionally, Juan Rios will introduce another concept, Naya Comida + Barrita, expected to open in late fall.

For those seeking entertainment alongside dining, Live! At Pointe Orlando will open in the fall, featuring a large indoor and outdoor venue. The venue will encompass various entertainment options, including a sports bar and an English lounge, enhancing the social dining experience.

In the Altamonte Springs area, Ice Cream Station has opened its doors at 1113 W. State Road 436. This new spot is dedicated to serving delectable ice cream and Chicago-style hot dogs, sure to attract dessert lovers and casual diners alike.

Moreover, Torchy’s Tacos, a popular Austin-based taco chain, has set its third Orlando location at 11757 Daryl Carter Parkway. Known for its house-made tortillas and distinctive taco fillings, this venue is poised to become a local favorite.

As summer approaches, Unicorn Scoops is gearing up to open in June at Lake Mary Centre, promising an array of over 80 flavors of high butterfat ice cream, aimed at providing a rich and indulgent frozen treat experience.

Overall, these new restaurants and food venues are set to enrich the vibrant dining scene in Orlando, offering residents and visitors a variety of culinary adventures to explore.
