The festivities kick off with the Fireworks at the Fountain event in Orlando on July 4, taking place at Lake Eola from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees can enjoy food, games, and a concert courtesy of the Orlando Concert Band, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display at 9:10 p.m. This annual event marks its 48th year and serves as a beloved tradition in the community.

That same day, families can choose to gather at the Magic Kingdom for the Disney’s Celebrate America fireworks concert, set to start at 9:20 p.m. Other notable celebrations include the Star Spangled Sanford at the Riverwalk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring a fireworks show over Lake Monroe, and the Winter Springs Celebration of Freedom at Central Winds Park from 5 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Additionally, Mount Dora will host the Freedom on the Waterfront on July 3, showcasing live music, a fireworks display, and a drone show.

The excitement continues into Saturday, July 5, with multiple events taking place across the region. One of the first highlights is the 1st Saturday Sip & Stroll in New Smyrna Beach, running from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a cost of $25. Attendees receive a souvenir glass and 12 drink tickets, allowing them to sample local wines and craft beers. A self-guided map encourages participants to explore local spots, while an art stroll earlier from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. features local art, antiques, and live music from noon to 2 p.m.

Later in the evening, the Cocoa Beach Centennial Celebration will unfold from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The street bash includes live music from the band Hot Pink, food trucks, and captivating stories shared by NASA astronauts. A grand drone show is scheduled for 9:30 p.m., which can be viewed from up to five miles away.

Another unique event, the Kavas Tacos Fire Show, will be held at Pointe Orlando from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This event features thrilling fire performances, live DJ entertainment, and a variety of street food options. Families can also attend An Evening with Jodi Benson at The Ritz in Winter Haven, where the acclaimed voice of Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” will perform alongside her daughter at 7:30 p.m.

For those interested in more traditional entertainment, the Saturday Night Rodeo at Westgate River Ranch will take place at 7:30 p.m., featuring barrel racing, bull riding, trick roping, and even a calf scramble for children, along with patriotic tributes to honor the Independence Day spirit.

Wrapping up the holiday weekend, Sensory Sunday will be held at the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach on July 6, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This event is designed to provide a calm environment for neurodiverse guests and families, featuring sensory-friendly activities to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
