Hannah Stokes began her journey in music at the tender age of 12, initially inspired by alternative rock artists and the early work of Taylor Swift. Over the years, Stokes has honed her craft and developed a distinctive style that blends elements of jazz, folk, soul, and R&B. With five years of experience as a full-time musician, she has built a solid reputation in the local music scene, known for her intimate and emotional songwriting.

‘Right Where I Belong’ showcases a mix of old and new material, featuring a cover of ‘My Favorite Things’ as well as ‘I Say a Little Prayer’. The oldest song on the album is one of her earliest compositions, while one of the newest tracks was completed just two weeks prior to the album’s release, demonstrating Stokes’ ongoing creative process.
The album reflects themes central to Stokes’ personal journey, including identity, love, and purpose. This introspective approach to her songwriting resonates with listeners, as she shares her experiences and emotions through music.
