Additionally, the WTS Central Florida chapter is collecting new school supplies for students in need through July 30. Drop-off locations are available at various places listed on an Amazon school supply list, which makes it easier for community members to contribute.

The FAVO Art Stroll and School Backpack Drive is scheduled for August 1 and 2 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 221 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32801. This event encourages attendees to donate backpacks and school supplies, making it a valuable resource for local children as they prepare for a new school year.

The City of Winter Garden will host a Back to School Bash on August 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event will be held at Zanders Park & Bouler Pool, located at 362 11th Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Parents and children can enjoy various activities, and free school supplies will be available.

Meanwhile, the Southern Ford Dealers School Supply Drive will be running from July 11 through August 12, 2025. The primary drop-off location is at 655 W. Church Street, Orlando, FL 32801. Additional drop-off days will occur during soccer matches on August 3, 9, and 10, giving local fans multiple chances to contribute.

The Orlando chapter of the FAMU National Alumni Association is facilitating a School Supply Drive specifically for Jones High School students. Donations can be made at Conti Moore Law Offices, located at 815 N Magnolia Ave Ste 100, Orlando, FL 32803, until the deadline of August 6, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In Apopka, an event for parents and children to create personalized book bags filled with school supplies will take place at First Methodist Church Apopka, 201 S. Park Avenue, Apopka, FL 32703, on August 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Florida Blue is also hosting a back-to-school event at their Winter Park location, 434 North Orlando Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789. The event will be on August 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will offer free school supplies along with various activities for families.

On August 8, Kissimmee will host a Back-to-School Celebration featuring games, music, and food trucks. This festive event will occur at 5403 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL 34746, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The Welcome Center Back to School Bash, set for August 2 at 101 Adventure Ct, Davenport, FL 33837, will provide free backpacks to the first 500 students starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until noon.

Finally, Marion County is preparing for a Back to School Community Giveback event on July 26, which will provide backpacks and supplies tailored to specific grade levels. Attendance for students requires prior registration to ensure adequate supplies are available.

These events highlight Central Florida’s commitment to supporting its students as the new school year approaches. Community participation is encouraged to help ensure that every child has access to the necessary tools for success in their education.
