ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando City fans now know when the Lions will be home for a compressed spring. The club on Thursday released its slate for the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, a 14-match bridge campaign that runs from late February into early May while the league moves to a summer-to-spring calendar.
The New England Revolution provide the first test, visiting Inter.co Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Feb. 20. That keeps alive a club habit that dates to its first MLS season in 2015: every opener has been played in downtown Orlando.
The schedule flips between home and road dates all spring. Seven visitors come to Inter.co Stadium: New England, Toronto FC, the Columbus Crew, Nashville SC, Inter Miami CF, the Philadelphia Union and New York City FC. Road trips take the Lions to Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago and Cincinnati, plus Montreal, Washington and the New York area to face the Red Bulls.
The one Florida Derby of the short season lands on Saturday, April 17, when Inter Miami visits Orlando for a 5 p.m. start. New York City FC is the last home opponent, on Saturday, May 1, at 7 p.m.
League-wide, the regular season closes with Decision Day on Saturday, May 8, when Eastern Conference matches start at 5 p.m. and the results settle the playoff field. The MLS Cup final is set for Memorial Day weekend, and the spring standings also count toward berths in two 2028 international events, the Leagues Cup and the Concacaf Champions Cup.
This will be the club’s 13th season in MLS. Season ticket memberships for the Sprint Season start at $145, and the club said single-match ticket details will come later.
