Orlando Welcomes 20th Anniversary of Magical Dining with Over 160 Participating Restaurants
Orlando is set to kick off the 20th edition of Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining from August 15 to September 30, 2025. This year’s event will feature more than 160 local restaurants offering a specially crafted three-course, prix-fixe meal priced at either $40 or $60, excluding tax and gratuity. The Magical Dining event not only aims to enhance dining traffic during the traditionally slow month of September for the hospitality industry but also gives back to the community through its charitable initiatives.
Supporting Local Charities
Since its inception in 2006, the Magical Dining program has successfully raised nearly $3 million for various local nonprofit organizations. This year, proceeds will benefit the REED Charitable Foundation, which focuses on childhood literacy and educator training. For every $40 meal sold, $1 will be donated, and for every $60 meal, $2 will go towards supporting local charities, including organizations like Boys 2 Men Mentoring and the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County.
Dining and Culinary Highlights
This year marks the participation of 24 new restaurants, including key establishments like The Ravenous Pig, Otto’s High Dive, Sushi Saint, and AVA MediterrAegean. Notably, 15 restaurants recognized by the MICHELIN Guide are also taking part. Additionally, the event will showcase various themed nights, such as Havana Nights, highlighting Cuban cuisine and culture on September 25, 2025 from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Beyond traditional dining experiences, the event includes diverse activities like girls’ nights and karaoke, offered at local venues including Helena Modern Riviera and Tin Roof Orlando. For convenience, guests will find free parking available at ICON Park, the main location of the event, with valet options post-5 PM.
Exploring Orlando’s Culinary Scene
The Magical Dining initiative encourages both locals and tourists to explore Orlando’s vibrant culinary landscape while supporting meaningful community causes. Participants have the option to make reservations online, where they can filter dining choices by location, price, and dietary preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options. Restaurants participating span various districts, including Winter Park, Downtown Orlando, and Disney.
Through this year’s program, the goal remains clear: to introduce diners to unique culinary experiences while providing valuable support to local charities and enhancing the overall community spirit. As the event approaches, the anticipation surrounding Orlando’s Magical Dining continues to grow, promising a delightful experience for all attendees.
