In tandem with the mural projects, a free block party is scheduled this weekend at Sam Flax on E. Colonial Drive, celebrating the creation of more than a dozen new murals by local artists. This festive event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and promises a range of activities suitable for families. Sam Flax has been an Orlando staple for over 45 years and is well-known for its artistic facade and vibrant murals.
The block party will feature local food vendors, a DJ, interactive artwork installations, art demonstrations, and plenty of activities to entertain children. Additionally, Sam Flax will host free raffles and in-store sales during this community celebration, offering attendees an opportunity to engage with local art culture.
