Florida – Whole Foods Market is set to open a new location in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood on June 26, 2025. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the retailer as it continues to grow its presence in South Florida.

The new store will be located at 2910 Biscayne Blvd, inside the Nema Miami residential tower, which features 39 stories and 588 residential units. The Whole Foods Market will span an impressive 53,400 square feet, providing a wide range of products to the community.

Local Offerings and Product Range

This new store will prioritize local sourcing, with over 500 items available from more than 130 Florida suppliers. Among the key offerings will be fresh seafood, including red snapper and grouper from Greg Abrams Seafood, Gulf and Key West pink shrimp from Cox’s Seafood Co., and spiny lobster tails from Key’s Fisheries. Produce lovers can look forward to local favorites such as lychee and passion fruit from EcoRipe Tropicals, as well as orchids from Silver Vase nursery and watermelons from Jim Rash Inc.

Additionally, the grocery chain will provide specialty products like hand-wrapped fresh mozzarella from Mozzarita in Pompano Beach, and dark chocolate sea salt bars from 5150 Chocolate Co. in Delray Beach. Customers can also visit a full-service meat counter featuring ground beef sourced from Adams Ranch Natural Beef in Fort Pierce.

Expanded Beverage and Bakery Sections

The store is designed to cater to various tastes, with a spirits section offering over 240 craft beers and 700 wines, many sourced from local breweries. The bakery will include items from renowned local businesses such as Zak the Baker, Bunnie Cakes, Simply Delicious Bakers, and Gelato Fino.

Grand Opening Celebrations

The grand opening will feature complimentary coffee from Wells Coffee and breakfast treats from Zak the Baker. As an added incentive, the first 300 customers will receive a custom tote bag along with a Secret Saver coupon offering discounts of up to $100. Afternoon shoppers can also enjoy complimentary gelato pops provided by Gelatys of Miami.

Store Hours and Community Initiatives

Regular store hours are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, making it accessible for both early risers and late-night shoppers. Further showcasing Whole Foods Market’s commitment to the local community, the company will donate food to local organizations, including The Caring Place, Urban Oasis Project, and Lotus House as part of its Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program.
